Our Mission

The goal of this project was to create an outdoor video wall that could be set up, maintained, and populated with content without the need for specialized personnel. The result is a product that meets every goal we set for ourselves, both in terms of hardware and software: a mobile wayfinding system with a well-designed, intuitive interface—one that can be operated without a technician. This is the new smartScreen One.

What is smartScreen One?

smartScreen One is the next generation of mobile, digital, outdoor signage systems. It is a mobile LED wall measuring approximately 4 square meters. Whether used as a wayfinding system at a trade show, a parking guidance system, or to enhance safety measures for festivals or events in public spaces, the smartScreen One displays information, advertisements, or announcements so easily that no specialized staff is required.

How to smartScreen One

No specialized personnel are required to set up the smartScreen One. Once it is positioned, aligned, and connected to a power source, it extends and moves into its operating position. No additional components are needed for operation. “Plug and Play” is the guiding principle behind the smartScreen One.
Once assembled and set up, the smartScreen Guide operates automatically—until it is taken down.
All smartScreen One devices in user mode can be easily controlled from a tablet via a simple user interface. “Supervisor Mode” is accessed through a browser. All relevant operational information can be viewed and controlled remotely. This allows errors that occur in an emergency to be resolved without the physical presence of technicians.
Content can either be played back “statically” using a pre-created content playlist or dynamically adjusted at any time.
The software updates all content in real time via the cloud. Content can be intuitively added, edited, and managed using the app or a web browser.
The player in the smartScreen One automatically retrieves up-to-date information from the cloud, which is hosted in Germany. All standard content can be displayed in 16:9 format, including:
- Images
- Videos
- Text (including via the quick-entry field)
- Websites
- RSS feeds
- PDFs
Zone division possible
Depending on the orientation of the content, the LED wall can be rotated to portrait or landscape mode.
The supervisor can view and edit thumbnails, technical data, and location data for the player remotely via a browser.
Users can edit pre-made playlists or text content using a mobile device and access the smartScreen Guide via the app.
